NFL Hall of Famer and Buffalo Bills legend, Thurman Thomas, recently stopped into ICE. During his football career Thurman was an absolute superstar, playing a vital role in the Bills’ historical four consecutive Super Bowl run. Today, Thurman is actively involved locally with The Thurman Thomas Family Foundation. The Foundation has roots, family, friends, and success here in Buffalo—along with a passion and love for our city. They have chosen to make a positive impact for people in challenging situations here at home through the Thurman Thomas Family Foundation (TTFF). The mission of the TTFF is to make a difference through programs that support education, health and wellness, while being committed to diversity and inclusion for all of those in need in our local community.
Thurman’s visit to ICE was very special, noted ICE Vice President, Daniel Coppola, “Our employees had a chance to do a meet and greet with Thurman. The city of Buffalo is electric right now with the success of the Bills, and having Thurman stop in and visit with us was a great bonus for our employees. It was a great opportunity to continue the post-IAAPA momentum.” During his time at the factory Thurman did a little shopping and even designed a Super Chexx. While Thurman is known for his accomplishments on the gridiron, he is no stranger to the ice as he is an avid hockey fan. “It’s an exciting time both in our factory and in our city,” Coppola noted.
