This week at IAAPA Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida ICE turned up the heat debuting FOUR new games as well as a few surprises. IAAPA kicked off on November 19 and wrapped up on November 22, with ICE’s booths (#1608 and #1806) buzzing non-stop! Crowds flocked to experience the excitement, eager to try out one of ICE’s 42 incredible games on display. ICE brought a variety of games including classics like Snowball Toss, NBA Gametime, World Football Pro, Tons of Tickets, and Whack A Clown.
This year ICE also had Lenny Hayes from ICE’s parts department and Dave Bartel from service at IAAPA! Lenny and Dave had their own office at the ICE booth and were available to show website improvement, give demonstrations on ICE’s new improvements and place parts orders!
ICE unveiled 4 brand-new games along with a few exciting surprises!
ICE revealed Neon Bowling, Smash N Win, Stop the Drop and Yeti Go! Experience the nostalgia of classic bowling with a fresh, modern twist with Neon Bowling. There are two game modes Classic bowling and Neon Bowling. Classic Bowling is just like the traditional bowling you love to play. Enjoy the thrill of splits, spares and strikes! Classic mode has LED-lit pins, and the ability to play with play with up to 4 players. Neon Bowling features 3 mini games and a chance for multipliers and free balls. The first game mode is Triple Strike. The goal of this mini game is to get a “strike” on all 3 rolls. On the first throw the player will have to knock down the first 3 pins, on the second throw 6 pins and the third throw all 10 pins. Second mini game is time your shot. In Time Your Shot you need to aim for the pin that is lit up blue. The blue pin changes every two seconds. The third mini game is Red Pin Challenge. In Red Pin Challenge the player must avoid hitting the red pin while trying to knock down blue pins. Players are given 2 tries to knock down all the pins without hitting the red pin. Neon bowling is fast and easy to set up. One lane can be installed with 2 people in less than 3 hours.
In Stop the drop players will test their skill by trying to stop the coaster train at the right time to win the BONUS. Stop the drop features an adjustable progressive BONUS. Stop the Drop is available in a single player and two player station. In Smash N Win players will time their “smash” so they hit the ball at the right time to land in the hole to win a prize. Smash and Win is available in different themes including NBA, WNBA and monster ball. Different themes will include a themed sound, graphics, display, prize (balls or capsules), marquee and gameplay (can be operated as a merchandizer and merchandizer with tickets (winner every time)). Feed Larry the Yeti snowballs in Yeti Go! players will reach around the swirling vortex of snowballs to feed Larry the Yeti snowballs. Players will skillfully try to place balls in the moving multicolored LED ring that is worth 100 points.
Also revealed at IAAPA Expos were NBA Baller and Down the Clown LED Upgrading Kit. NBA Baller is our famous NBA Hoops matrix with the ability to dispense an officially licensed NBA or WNBA ball once the high score is beaten. The down the Clown LED upgrade kit will be available to purchase on January 1st and is available for existing units as well.
Air FX Pro also made its big IAAPA debut. Air FX Pro is part of ICE’s home arcade games line and is made of powder coated steel for strength and durability. It features hardwood accents legs with a variety of stain options that are perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any room. With the ability to program LEDs on the bottom legs and corner playfield, you can create your own unique lighting effects and patterns to enhance your gameplay and make your Air FX Pro stand out. Air FX Pro has the same great design and build quality as our arcade Air FX. The beautiful backlit 3/8 Inch LED acrylic play surface is sure to look stunning in any space. Innovative new Phenolic material for state-of-the-art bumper system allowing for a quieter game play. Air FX Pro is easy to install in about 30-45 minutes with two people. The main table weighs 200 pounds, legs are 50 pounds each. Air FX Pro features an easy to access maintenance door. This door has been designed to provide quick and easy access to electronics. Air FX Pro comes equipped with handles to make it even easier to move.
