ICE Prepares Meal For Families In Need

Ronald McDonald house is celebrating 40 years of service. During the past four decades, they have been dedicated to providing comfort, care, and support to families facing the challenges of childhood injury and illness. Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY, Inc. (RMHC of WNY) is part of a global network of Ronald McDonald Houses and programs that serve nearly 6 million children and families annually. Since 1974, the network of local chapters has been making children happier and healthier by keeping families together and giving them a place to rest and heal. Tailored to meet the urgent needs of each community, these programs can now be found in more than 64 countries and regions across the globe. The Ronald McDonald House of WNY provides housing for families who have sick children and are being treated at John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital. This housing option enables families to experience some restorative time for themselves without having to step too far away from their child’s bedside.

Members of the ICE team cooked homemade sauce/pasta, meatballs, roasted chicken, with trimmings and desserts for over 15 families this week. Thank you to Mark Conlon (Plant Manager), Elie Harfouche (Plant Manager), Lenny Hayes (Parts Manager), Todd Rodgers (Dir of Purchasing), Voicu Nicorici (VP of Engineering), and Tim Finney (GM and VP of HR) for their time.
